This adv is on air for around 2 weeks. ParknShop uses the old track again by featuring the celebrity, Ah So. This time, this adv is a little bit different from ParknShop's pervious versions by entering customer's house, family enjoying delicious meal. It is found that this family is ParknShop's private brand fan with a variety of food and beverages in the kitchen. The story line is obvious and easy to get into the point - ParknShop private brand is good with variety of choice.
However, I think the use of Ah So is strange as she is a character actor or presenter in radio or in Cable TV . It is too impressive that Ah So tries all means to find "real" delicious food around HK and introduce to us. This image is very strong. However, ParknShop private brand quality always being found with poor quality and failure in passing quality standard checking by the Consumer Council. Could Ah So transfer credibility to ParknShop? I really doubt it!
Rather, I am just curious why Ah So is willing to link her image with such a poor quality control organization. For me, this adv is not convincing at all. Instead, this celebrity endorsement raise my hesitation again on ParknShop quality issue. In short, Ah So and ParknShop quality are extremely opposite. Could this link or associated together? Not convincing!
